Capital District Board of Women's Soccer Officials
Welcome
We are seeking individuals interested in refereeing High School Girl's soccer in New York's Section 2 (the Capitol District). If you are such an individual, fill out the form below. We will contact you shortly with everything you need to know. Please note that the vast majority of games are played start between 4:00 and 4:30 weekday afternoons in September and October.
We offer instruction. The mandatory classes are scheduled for:
- August 15, 2023: classes for new officials begin.
- August 17, 2023: second class
- August 22, 2023: third class
- August 24, 2023: fourth class
- August 29, 2023: Refereeing Reality
- August 28, 2023: Scrimmages begin - Assignments based on availability of trainers and candidates
All classes and testing take place at Shaker High School, if live, or on Zoom.
Candidates who have not officiated soccer must attend ALL classes. Alternative arrangements can be made for instruction for experienced officials.
